Key Competencies for Minor Offender Reintegration

Target Groups

The aim of our project is to to support juvenile offenders in training in the acquisition and usage of key competencies to facilitate personal development, employability and participation to further education, by developing a multi-level framework of experts, materials, learning contexts.

From this aim it is obvious that our target group is made out of juvenile and young offenders. But giving this special field of work, we have realized in our partnership that first we need to target the professionals working on daily basis within the juvenile justice settings. They are the learning experience providers, the persons that teach, advice, council, mediate, coach and support these youngsters in need.

And then we realized that also the persons taking care of this special context will be our targets. Here we have in mind the managers of units, directors of facilities, national administrators that all work to keep in place and running this complex system that is the juvenile justice. But they will be our stakeholders, that special group that we have to convince in adopting and using MyCompass Method.
